In Hans Christian Andersen’s tale, the Snow Queen is a woman whose kiss can turn someone as cold as ice. In Disney’s “Frozen” it’s a tale of a young girl with powers she cannot control and separates her from her only sister. When she can no longer hold her powers in, she freezes the whole town and builds an ice palace to live in.

This beautiful vest is inspired by the Snow Queen, Elsa. Knit up in a bulky, beautiful yarn and adorned with snow-flake like crystals, it’s the perfect garment to wear over a beautiful skirt, or even jeans.

Things to know about this pattern: You will use the selvedge stitch, ribbing, seaming, and sewing on the crystals.
